SRI in the Rockies 2009: From Crisis to Opportunity

The 20th Anniversary 2009 SRI in the Rockies Conference is October 25–28, 2009 at the JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa in Tucson, Arizona.

SRI in the Rockies is billed as "the premier annual gathering of investment professionals and related organizations who work to direct the flow of investment capital in transformative ways"; it offers many opportunities to meet and learn from passionate, creative people from all corners of the sustainable and responsible investment industry in the United States and around the world.

SVT Partner Sara Olsen will moderate a panel the morning of the 26th featuring Preston Pinkett III Director, Social Investment Fund, Prudential Social Investment Program; Beth Sirull Director, InSight, Pacific Community Ventures; Elisabeth Zeller, Senior Finance Manager for Corporate Affairs and Corporate Sustainability, Intel Corporation.

The panel will discuss "Social Return on Investment", how it is used to quantify various types of social and environmental impacts, both from a corporate and an investor perspective, and how to align institutional money managers around the inclusion of this increasingly central aspect of performance.
