Sara Olsen to Co-Facilitate the Sustainable Leadership Association Leadership Program

The Sustainable Leadership Association (SLA) is a non-profit organization committed to applying vision and expertise towards a sustainable future for all. Based in Colorado, SLA is a solution driven organization with the distinguishing quality to move people towards powerful and profound choices in an effort to stave off complacence about issues affecting our world.

SLA’s leadership program recognizes that society needs committed and creative leaders to promote a world in which economic development can be attained for the benefit of all while conserving the planet’s natural capital and improving people’s living conditions. The program’s mission is to develop leaders who will address our present challenges and opportunities, and it is designed to provide fertile ground for emerging leaders in the community that are passionate about sustainability. Participants will learn how to implement innovative solutions to achieve social, economic and ecological well-being while developing strong professional relationships with other change-makers.

This class meets one day a month from March though October.  The program is limited to 20 participants and SLA will review applications as we receive them. The final application deadline is February 1, 2019. Course topics will include the following:

LEADERSHIP – Developing the skills necessary to create effective solutions.
ENVIRONMENTAL – Leaving less of an impact and preserving natural resources.
SOCIAL – Building positive relationships for a more equitable and inclusive world.
ECONOMIC – Having a positive impact on the economic environment.

Co-facilitator

In addition to SVT Group, SLA’s Leadership Program will be co-facilitated by Ed Quevedo. Mr. Quevedo is the Executive Director of the Foresight Lab, a collaborative advisory and creative agency working to build the New Regenerative Economy.

As a senior creative and trusted advisor, he has worked internationally and domestically guiding and advising some of the world’s most iconic and highly regarded companies, philanthropies, institutions of higher learning, and civil society organizations.
